Arminia Bielefeld brings second division coach Forte from Switzerland

Arminia Bielefeld has signed Italian coach Uli Forte. The 48-year-old has been given a contract until June 30, 2024 and is moving from the Swiss second division side Yverdon Sport FC to Ostwestfalen.

Before that, he was also a coach at Young Boys Bern, Grasshopper Zurich, FC St. Gallen and FC Zurich. During this time he won the Swiss Cup twice. “I’m really looking forward to this challenge in the 2nd Bundesliga with Arminia. German football has always been a dream of mine. Now it’s finally starting at a big traditional club, ”said Forte in a club announcement. The start of training for the Bielefeld team is already a week away on June 11th.
