It’s been storming around actor Armie Hammer (34) in recent months. The 34-year-old has been accused of being a cannibal, and several women have shared stories from the star’s verified social media accounts about cutting toes, grilling and eating ribs – as well as a number of other sensational sexual fantasies.
Now the actor is also accused of rape, writes TMZ.
One woman – Effie – claims that Hammer hit her head in a wall before he physically abused her.
She claims that the incident took place on April 24, 2017 in Los Angeles.
Effie made the accusations at a press conference with her lawyer Gloria Allred on Thursday. A Los Angeles police spokesman confirmed that the “Call Me By Your Name” actor is now under investigation for a possible sexual assault, according to Variety.

Effie claims that she met Hammer on Facebook in 2016, and that they later entered into a relationship that developed in a violent direction.
Her lawyer says they have gone to the police with evidence of the alleged rape, and that the prosecution now has to decide whether the evidence is strong enough to open a case against the actor.
Armie Hammer’s lawyer Andrew Brettler tells TMZ that they believe Effie’s accusations are unfounded, and claims that she should have sent sexual messages to the actress by the summer of 2020.
“It was never Hammer’s intention to hang out or show off Effie’s fetishes or sexual desires, but she has now escalated this to a new level by hiring a civil lawyer to arrange a public press conference,” Brettler told TMZ.
