“For tactical reasons, the army has withdrawn its forces to avoid losses and do more damage to enemy troops,” Pogosyan said on Facebook.

At the same time, he claimed, Armenian forces had made “tangible progress” in other sectors of the front.

Shortly before, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced that Armenian forces had begun to flee and, “leave their battle positions without permission.”

As reported, on September 27 to Nagorno-Karabakh the actual boundaries began a heavy battle between Armenia and Azerbaijani forces. Both sides accuse each other of starting war.

Both parties also report serious damage to the opponent.
