Armenian weightlifting champion Kills in war against Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh

YEREVAN, KOMPAS.com – An athlete lift the iron of Armenia reportedly killed in the war with Azerbaijan that goes on Nagorno-Karabakh.

The local weightlifting federation announced the death of Tatul Harutyunyan on Facebook, without giving details about why he was killed.

“It is with deep sadness that we announce that during the fierce fighting in Artsakh, the killing of an APF member, the Armenian champion, and our friend Tatul Harutyunyan,” explained the federation.

The war between Yerevan and Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh has entered its second week, with the two sides making accusations against each other.

The latest war broke out on September 27, when the two countries accuse each other of violating the border in the Caucasus region.

The two countries then declared martial law regulations and carried out military mobilization by placing heavy weapons on the front lines.
