Armenian Serviceman Wounded in Enemy Fire Near Village of Tekh

The Armenian Defense Ministry reported that a serviceman was wounded as a result of a shot from the enemy. The health of the wounded is assessed as moderate. The incident occurred around 18:05 local time at an Armenian position located in the direction of the village of Tekh.

“As of 20:00, the situation on the front line is relatively stable,”— informs military department. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry has not yet commented on the incident.

The village of Teh is located in the eastern part of the Syunik region in Armenia, on the road that connects the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic with Armenia.

On April 23, Azerbaijan announced the establishment of a checkpoint at the entrance to the Lachin corridor. Armenia will appeal to the International Court of Justice in this regard. Russia, meanwhile, called on the parties to return to the agreements on Karabakh.
