Armenia called on the UN Security Council to send a peacekeeping mission to Nagorno-Karabakh. This request was voiced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.

«[…] take the following measures. Condemn the resumption of hostilities and attacks on civilian objects and infrastructure, demand full implementation of obligations under international humanitarian law, and deploy an interdepartmental UN mission in Nagorno-Karabakh,” Mirzoyan said during a speech at the UN Security Council. The information is reported by TASS.

On the afternoon of September 19, Azerbaijan announced the holding anti-terrorist operation on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. The next day, Nagorno-Karabakh capitulated. On September 21, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh has been resolved.
