“Armenia is doing a political dance”

Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev delivered his next speech at the fourth international conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, organized by ADA University in Shusha on May 3, entitled “Formation of Greater Eurasian geopolitics: from past to present and future”. In fact, this speech once again showed that Azerbaijan’s path is the right path and we only want justice and peace. “Azerbaijan wants peace with that state, which has allowed the occupation of our lands since the end of the 80s of the last century, and made 1 million people refugees and displaced people.” These words were said by MP Anar Iskenderov in his statement to SIA.

According to him, despite all this, our head of state declares to the world that Azerbaijan wants to sign a peace treaty with him, no matter how cruel the Armenians are. At the same time, Azerbaijan understands that the signing of peace means peace for both nations. The President of Azerbaijan unequivocally notes that some of the world’s great powers do not want to sign this agreement at any cost. There is competition between influential states and organizations, as each party asserts its own interest. As a result of this competition, the two states cannot come to an agreement. Pressures on Armenia also play a role in this matter. Armenia is doing a political dance. He is asking for help from Iran, Russia, and Western countries. The Azerbaijani side thinks that the effect of the two nations working on a peace agreement without outside interference is higher. That is, there is no need for the intervention of foreign countries. At the same time, our head of state thinks that if this peace agreement is signed, Armenia will be the first of the winning states.”

Continuing his words, the deputy said that Azerbaijan’s access to the world is obvious: “But Armenia does not have such an access. Also, the financial situation in Armenia is getting worse day by day. The situation of Armenians living in Azerbaijan, i.e. Karabakh, is improving. In this sense, the head of state Ilham Aliyev emphasizes once again that Azerbaijan is ready to sign the agreement. Armenia is waiting for something. In addition, the President of Azerbaijan admits that if Armenia does not accept our constructive conditions, we will not need to resort to another way. Because what Azerbaijan won in the 44-day war is enough. Azerbaijan does not lose anything. Armenia will be the loser.”
