In a state television program, they were carrying Russian warships Zircon hypersonic missile Admiral Gorshkov, is shown fending off a six-day simulated air raid during his controversial mission.
However, no missiles were fired during those recorded exercises.
The reason for the exercise was reportedly to test air defense circuits, aerial and electronic lighting systems, anti-aircraft fire systems, tactical camouflage electronic warfare systems, and air defense circuit control systems.
The comments in the video state that the task has been “completed” and the frigate is ready to repel air attacks from different altitudes and directions.
The Zircon missile, which has a speed of 9 March, is one of the deadliest weapons in the world and the latest in the arsenal of Russian President Vladimir Putin. They can travel at nearly 7000 mph.
Russia first tested the weapon in 2020 and again in 2022. Russia says the test was successful and it flew more than 600 miles at incredible speed.
Russian warships moving across the Norwegian Sea are frequent, but the exercise is particularly notable for the might of the arsenal inside.
