A dispute with several students

The investigation was entrusted to the police of the Urban Security Brigade (BSU) of the Montluçon police station, in order to determine what prompted the young 17-year-old Montluçonnais to act thus. Presumably as a result of a dispute with several students.

At the same time, the Paul-Constans high school pronounced, against him, a suspension of the courses as a precaution, pending the upcoming meeting of a disciplinary council.

A chase with the police

The young man had been spotted breaking into the establishment with a knife and screwdriver at around 6 p.m. on Friday, November 20. The police were immediately alerted.

The high school student was arrested after a chase in and around the establishment.

The principal had, at the same time, triggered the Special Plan for Security Attacks (PPMS). Everyone inside was then confined while waiting for the end of the alert.
