Armed robbery at McDonald’s in Emmen, police search for two

After a robbery at the McDonald’s restaurant on Hoenderkamp in Emmen, the police are looking for two men who fled on foot. To this end, the police asked the citizens for help.

At around 10.15pm, “two people robbed a restaurant at gunpoint,” police said. It is still unclear what exactly happened in the fast food restaurant and whether the robbers stole anything. A Burgernet report is used to look for two white men dressed in black. According to the report, both are carrying a sports bag.

Five police cars arrived at the McDonald’s branch after the robbery was reported, after which officers cordoned off the area to investigate the leads.
