Armed robbery at Coop supermarket in Wormerveer, customer stabbed with knife | Inland

The robbery happened while a customer was checking out. As soon as the cash register opened, the robber struck. He rummaged through the till and showed a 25-centimetre knife. When the suspect left the store, a customer tried to stop him. The robber stabbed this helping man in the shoulder.

The robber took off on a bicycle and the police have cordoned off a large area for investigation. The suspect was wearing a hoody, sunglasses and a face mask.
