“Armed Robbers Raid Bulgari Jewelry Store in Paris in Broad Daylight”

Armed robbers raided the Bulgari jewelry store on Place Vendôme in central Paris in broad daylight. According to preliminary data, there were three robbers, they drove up to the boutique on two motorcycles at about 13:45 local time. It is reported by AFP, citing a police source.

Damage is still being assessed, the source added. A video posted to social media shows two black motorcycles parked on the sidewalk in front of a jewelry store. A man in a helmet, with a weapon and in black clothes is seen, who, apparently, is on guard. Later, three people can be seen fleeing the scene on two motorcycles.

The Paris prosecutor’s office announced that an investigation into the armed robbery had been launched.

The same Bulgari store was the subject of an armed robbery in September 2021, with damages estimated at €10 million.
