Around 9pm on Thursday evening, the police received a report that someone had waved what appeared to be a knife outside McDonald’s on Torgallmenningen.
– We moved out with several patrols. When we arrived at the scene, the people were not there, but we interviewed witnesses, said Stein Rune Halleraker, operations manager at the West police district to BT on Thursday evening.
Several patrols in the area searched for those who are said to have had the knife.
At 22.15 the police arrested two minors.
– We have arrested two people who fit the description of the suspects at Torgallmenningen, the police write on X/Twitter.
Guardians and the child welfare officer have been notified.
– We continue to work with investigations into the case, writes Vest police district.
