The attack occurred at around 3 p.m. As the Zurich canton police write, a masked man entered the post office counter with a handgun and demanded cash from an employee.
The man then fled in an unknown direction with the loot amounting to several hundred francs, it was said. The Winterthur city police and the Zurich cantonal police are searching for the perpetrator. The search remained unsuccessful until Wednesday evening.
