Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Indian player Virat Kohli is fond of tattoos. This is evidenced by the tattoos spread all over the star’s body. Kohli already has more than 12 tattoos on his body. Kohli’s new tattoo on his right arm also grabbed the attention of the crowd as the IPL season 16 began its first match.
Kohli’s new tattoo was done by Aliens Tattoo Studio, a leading tattoo studio with branches all over India. Sunny Bhanushali, the owner of Aliens Tattoo, was behind the new tattoo design as per Kohli’s request. He is the one who tattooed the star’s hand. Kohli chose the new tattoo to cover up a previous tattoo on his right arm.
Sunny Bhanushali says Kohli’s new tattoo represents spirituality, the interconnectedness of all things and the source of creation, and depicts transcendence, unity, the structure of life and the source of everything.
The tattoo was completed in two hours-long sessions in Mumbai and Bengaluru. In the first session in Mumbai, a part of the tattoo was completed in six hours. Then in the second session in Bengaluru, the tattoo was completed after taking about eight hours. Kohli spent around 14 hours in two sessions for this.
Sunny Bhanushali says that Kohli had approached them years ago for a tattoo. But due to Kohli’s busy schedule and travel plans, it was getting delayed. Kohli finally got in touch with Aliens Tattoo Studio last month.
Being a celebrity, Kohli’s safety was given importance to the tattoo. All necessary measures were taken to ensure safety. During those days the studio was closed and armed security personnel were deployed outside.
