Abu Dhabi | The video of a gunman helping a woman stuck on the highway with a flat tire in the United Arab Emirates has gone viral. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Lieut. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan shared the video on Instagram. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed said an armed forces soldier changed the tire of an Asian woman whose car broke down on a public road. The video was shot by a woman believed to be from Pakistan.
“Look at the UAE army … how they are helping everyone.” The woman says in the video. When the officer saw the woman stuck on the side of the road, she voluntarily stopped the vehicle to help her. When the woman asks for her name, the officer smiles and says Salim.
The woman says she greeted the UAE army several times during the video and is very grateful to the officer. The woman spoke about the incident on social media and thanked the UAE military.
