On Friday, October 11, 2024, the 4th planned mission for the year 2024, of the multi-member interdisciplinary mobile health team of the Health Directorate of the GHETHA to the islands of the Aegean Sea, was completed. It started on Sunday, October 6, 2024, in the context of the action of the Ministry of National Defense entitled “Health Care for All from the Armed Forces”.
Military doctors and nurses
The mission, which consisted of a group of military doctors (surgeons, dentists and pathologists) as well as military nurses, was transferred to the island of Agios Efstratiouwith a Navy Unit and provided primary health care, to a total of 30
residents.
