Americans today honor their armed forces. Like every third Saturday in May since 1950.
And everyone (companies, schools, private organizations, institutions) has their message of support there, in particular on Twitter (see #ArmedForcesDay). One example among hundreds:
In honor of Armed Forces Day, we’d like to salute the service and sacrifice of those who stand guard today and every day to defend America’s freedom.#AARPsalutesVets #ArmedForcesDay pic.twitter.com/Kuxoaq2KZ2

For the British, it will be June 26. Indeed, since 2009, this day of support for active and reserve soldiers, cadets, veterans and veterans, falls on the last Saturday in June.
And there is even a website dedicated to this tribute to the military! And also a Twitter account.
