The incident took place in the rural Anıl District of Hani district yesterday evening.
Allegedly, an argument broke out between the two families for an unknown reason. The discussion soon escalated into a gunfight.
The families opened fire on each other with the weapons they brought with them. In the incident, Muzaffer Kaya and his son Necmettin Kaya and 2 people whose names could not be learned were injured by bullets hitting their bodies.
Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were taken to hospital by paramedics. While Muzaffer and Necmettin Kaya, among the injured, lost their lives despite all the interventions, the other 2 people, who were stated to be from the opposite family, were taken to treatment.
Gendarmerie teams, who took precautions in the district to prevent a new fight between the two families, started an investigation into the incident.
