Armed ambush in Bellizzi: three arrests

In the early hours of today, the State Police of Salernothrough investigators from the local Flying Squad, with the aid of patrols from the Crime Prevention Department, Dog Units and personnel from the local Provincial Cabinet of Scientific Police, carried out an application order for personal precautionary measures issued by the investigating judge of the Court, on request from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, against three subjects, linked together by family ties, for the crimes of aggravated injuries in competition, illegal possession and carrying of weapons in competition and receiving stolen goods.

The facts that led to the issuing of the precautionary measures date back to the afternoon of last August 11th, when, in Bellizzi in via Roma, a 43-year-old man was hit by a gunshot. According to the accusatory reconstruction, currently confirmed by the investigating judge, it emerged that, at around 3pm, two of the suspects had arrived in a car near the place where the victim was sitting. After getting out of the car, one of the two would have the gunshot fired while the other brandished a baseball bat. In this context, the third accomplice, who planned the ambush, acted as a stake.

He ended up under house arrest Domenico Stabile25 years old, while for Gerardo Stabile48 years old, and Alfonso Stabile51 years old, the prison doors have opened.
