Armavir could not get a professional license.
A club from the Krasnodar Territory was denied an Olymp-PFL level license. Thus, Armavir has lost its professional status and is likely to enter the amateur championship of the region.
“It’s a pity, but Armavir FC failed to get licensing for playing in the South group of the PFL season 2020/2021. The club fully meets all licensing criteria, except for one – the most important – financial.
Alas, we did not receive confirmation from a potential sponsor of our readiness to finance the club during the sports season. Now we are engaged in the search for an investor in order to enter the amateur competitions of the Krasnodar Territory. I sincerely thank all the fans who are interested, worry about the club and support it in difficult times, ”said Armavir President Valentin Klimko.
Recall that the businessman Dzhevan Cheloyants, because of the coronavirus crisis, decided to voluntarily lower Armavir, which spoke at Olympus-FNL.
