Armando Gomez will be the new occupant of the COB bench. Born in 1984, and coach since 2006, the Madrid coach has experience in the lower categories of Fuenlabrada Basketball, and in women’s basketball, where he has directed the CREF Sports Club.
An experience that reinforced at the ACB level as assistant coach on the benches of Óbila, Viten Getafe; and a second stage in the Basketball Fuenlabrada, with whom he was promoted to LEB Gold in 2014.
Also like second coach has dealt for the last two seasons with the Cáceres World Heritage Site, where he has been part of the technical team of Roberto Blanco, and as first coach, He would lead Real Murcia, in the LEB Silver category.
The club’s management has valued his combination of experience and youth to hand him over the reins of the team replacing Gonzalo García de Vitoria.
