Footage from playing war shooters and simulations tends to be quite common in recent years often mistaken for real footage from various military conflicts. One of the most common titles used by war propaganda is Arma 3. Developers from the Czech studio Bohemia Interactive recently drew attention to this problem in connection with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Now the authors they again call for vigilance in connection with terrorist attacks in Israel. As in the case of the war in Ukraine, several videos of the game have appeared on the Internet, which are distributed on social networks as real materials. For example, the video attached below, which selected users on the social network X shared as evidence of the downing of a pair of Israeli army helicopters by the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas. In reality, however, this is gameplay from the third Army.
