Developers from the Czech studio Bohemia Interactive they announced new DLC for military simulator Arma 3. Expansion is titled Spearhead 1944 and takes you to the period of World War II. Following the example of previous additions such as SOG Prairie Fire or Global Mobilization – Cold War Germany, the newly introduced expansion ranks among the community DLCs, the development of which is behind external studios and community creators.
In Spearhead 1944 you fighting in Normandy awaits, where the allied troops will fight against Nazi Germany. The developers invite you to a large map with an area of 150 km², 5 playable factions, more than 50 unique hand weapons and over 40 pieces of military equipment. In terms of game modes, you can look forward to a multiplayer cooperative campaign for up to 24 players, which will be divided into seven missions. In addition, 6 multiplayer scenarios will be available, which will complement a separate scenario called Der Zahnarzt, which can be played in co-op as well as single player.
