Arkia ended the month of March in second place in passenger traffic in Israel. Now Arkia cruises at a height of more than 35,000 feet, without turbulence and without air pockets. 60,000 passengers chose to fly abroad in March on Arkia, and they make up 7% of passenger traffic.
In total, Arkia flights have almost 100,000 passengers on the international and domestic flights to Eilat. Arkia’s chosen destinations: in first place is Athens, followed by Tomi, Milan and Prague. The first five of the most popular destinations are closed by Sri Lanka and Seychelles.
The VP of trading at Arkie, Mike Chidani, declares: “The changes we have been leading in the last months in the company are proving themselves in the field. The temperatures are climbing, and we expect a further increase in the percentage of passengers.”
In addition, Arkie has recruited serious reinforcements for its spokespeople and media. Liat Bell Somer was appointed head of the communications and government relations department at Arkie Company. In her last position, she was the head of the international communication axis of the headquarters of the families of the abductees.
