JawaPos.com – Arema FC player Arkhan Fikri was called by Shin Tae-yong to strengthen the Indonesian National Team vs Brunei Darussalam in the first round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifications.
Arkhan Fikri is among the 26 names of players who have been called up to defend the Indonesian National Team against Brunei Darussalam on 12 and 17 October.
Arkhan Fikri will join the Indonesian national team squad which will be called to face Brunei on the ninth of October.
Before joining the Indonesian National Team, he will play the 15th week against Borneo FC Samarinda at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Friday (6/10) evening.
Until the 14th week, the player with back number 8 had played 10 times. He has had 1 shot on goal, tackled 7 and intercepted 4.
Arema Manager Proud
Arema FC manager Wiebie Dwi Andriyas welcomed his players’ call to join the Senior National Team.
This call is the only Arema FC player who has been called up to the Indonesian National Team this time.

He hopes that the team’s young player nicknamed Singo Crazy can perform well in the Indonesian national team uniform.
“We are proud of Arkhan’s call to the Indonesian National Team,” said Wiebie Dwi Andriyas.
This is not the first time the 18 year old player has received a call-up to the Indonesian national team.
