Ark leaves New York for Florida

(NEWSManagers.com) – Ark Investment Management, the management company of Cathie Wood, will move its headquarters to Florida as of November 1. The company will permanently leave New York and settle in St. Petersburg. This is where it will also set up an innovation center, called the Ark Innovation Center.

Since the launch of Ark’s first funds in 2014, Cathie Wood has sought to align herself, in spirit and in practice, with the atmosphere of Silicon Valley. “Our relocation and the Ark Innovation Center will allow us to be more innovative and impact the wider community while highlighting the technological advancements and creativity that permeate the Tampa Bay area,” adds she.

Along with this relocation, Ark is working with the Tampa Bay Innovation Center to create a new incubator that Pinellas County will build and own.
