The game development team Contraria announced on Monday, November 27th, the new game “Arisen Force: Delayed” free trial version on your PC (Steam) was distributed to. This work is available in Japanese and is scheduled for release in 2024. In addition, this work is also aiming to be released in 2025 for PS4/5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.
Ahead of this announcement, a new video was also released that conveys the atmosphere of the game.
Arisen Force: Vonimir is an action RPG set in a fantasy world. In the game, the player becomes a member of the Celestial Citadel’s army, and while traveling around the continent gathering allies, they throw themselves into battle against monsters that have invaded the world from another world.
A feature of this work is that the movement and battle fields are expressed in pixel-like 3D, and the characters within the field are expressed in 2D dots. One of the so-called “2.5D” visual expression genres.
In addition, this game has a “Valhalla system” that allows you to challenge NPCs and objects to duels and make deals with them on the field, and using these actions depending on the situation will advance the game. I think it will be important as we move forward.
This work iskickstarterThe company is currently soliciting support for its development, and is offering rewards in 13 tiers ranging from HK$124 (approximately 2,370 yen) to HK$17,146 (approximately 327,620 yen). By supporting HK$210 or more, you will be given the right to participate in the upcoming beta test.
By the way, a free trial version of this game is available, but at the time of writing this article, the quality of the trial version is honestly difficult to say that it is high, with mouse operations not being accepted while changing options, and scenes of duels with NPCs. However, I often encountered buggy behavior, such as being able to go outside the map where I would normally be unable to move.
However, it seems that the current trial version is only intended to convey the atmosphere of the game to players. The Kickstarter support page for this game also states that it “does not fully reflect the final quality,” so keep in mind that the game’s level of perfection will improve as development progresses. I should probably keep it.
Arisen Force: Vonimir, a 2.5D action RPG in which players can form a party of up to seven people and take on battles against various enemies in a fantasy world, is scheduled to be released on PC (Steam) in 2024. It is also under development for PS, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox with the aim of distribution in 2025.
