Aris will not have the support of his fans in the Cup rematch with AEK (Tuesday 03/12, 19:30), as well as in the league game with Atromitos (Saturday 07/12, 19:30) and this is because DEAB imposed a penalty of two suspensions on Akis Manziou’s team for throwing bottles at home defeat by Volos with 1-0.
The decision of the DEAB in detail:
“With Act number 38/2024, it imposed, at the expense of PAE ARIS, due to a relapse, the administrative sanction of holding two (2) sports meetings as the home team, without the presence of spectators at any National Event, as its fans in throwing objects (bottle, metal can and lighter) on the playing field and in its surrounding area, during the PAE match ARIS – PAE VOLOS NPS, on 23/11/2024 at the “KLEANTHIS VIKELIDIS” Stadium, for the 12th matchday of the regular season of the STOIXIMAN Super League 1, season 2024-2025.
It was taken into account that for the same competition season (Men’s football division A championship of the 2024/2025 season of Super League 1), PAE ARIS has already been punished by Act number 24/2024 of the DEAB, with the administrative sanction of holding a (1) competitive sports meeting without the presence of spectators in matches held at its headquarters, for a corresponding violation of the article 10, par. 1 of n. 5085/2024, during its away match against PAE ATROMITOS ATHENS, held on 18/08/2024 at the Municipal Stadium of Peristeri.

The Standing Committee for Combating Violence also announced that it had called “to a hearing, on Monday 02/12/2024, PAE OLYMPIAKOS, regarding the alleged offending behavior of its fans (posting a banner with a political-ideological nature and abusive content) inside the sports facility of the stadium “STAGE C. KARAISKAKIS”, during the match PAE OLYMPIAKOS SF – PAE AEK, on 24/11/2024, for the 12th matchday of the regular season of the STOIXIMAN Super League 1 2024-2025 championship.
