But what I was most looking forward to was the evening itself, when the only light in the room came from the Christmas tree candles, we were all sitting together, and I had the best feeling in the world – we are all together and everything is fine,” Arina shares her childhood memories.
Even today, her biggest wish is for the whole family to get together again. “May the worries and busyness of life be put aside and we simply enjoy the opportunity to be together,” says the member of Lauku seta.
Arina considers decorating the Christmas tree to be one of the most beautiful holiday traditions. “Now that I have an almost three-year-old son growing up myself, this activity becomes much more important,” says Arina.
She wants to convey to her son the feeling that this holiday is warm, sweet and interesting. “A year from now, he will help me bake pies, gingerbread, decorate greeting cards and put them in envelopes, and it will be the nicest time together,” says Arina.
The participant of “Lauku seta” believes that Christmas is also a magical time. “It is during these holidays that there are usually large gatherings of relatives and family reunion evenings. On this holiday, people forget for a moment about worries, busyness and disagreements. It is a time of forgiveness. And everyone, big or small, at least a little believes in miracles. What other holiday can do something like this?” thinks Arina.

“I would like to invite everyone to stop for a moment and think. Maybe one of your loved ones will be alone on Christmas Eve this year, and you could change that by inviting them over?
