– It is natural for my children and me to make other investments, says Arild Tvedt Finansavisen.

Arild Tvedt tells the newspaper that he is selling the ownership share to his two siblings and their children.

JTvedt AS was founded by Jarleif Tvedt. The group started trading furniture and later founded Tvedtsenteret in 1982.

According to Capital’s list Norway’s 400 richest Arild Tvedt is listed with a fortune of NOK 1.1 billion.

The group is now taken over by Siri Nybø who will be the new top manager. She is currently the manager of Tvedt Eiendom. A press release states that the operation of Tvedt Eiendom will continue as before.

Tvedt Eiendom operates the Tvedtsenteret at Forus and MagasinBlaa in Stavanger. In addition, the company has the Raglamyr Center in Haugesund. They also have ownership interests in Laguneparken in Bergen.

– We look forward to running the group further with continuity and focus on further development of our retail properties, says Siri Nybø.
