Ariel Noah to IIMS 2023, Launches Italjet Dragster Super Limited Edition

Noah’s band vocalist, Ariel, visited the 2023 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) arena. The singer of the song ‘Separuh Aku’ launched the Italjet Dragster Signature motorbike ‘ARL Dragster Super Limited Edition’. This motorbike is a special collaboration between Ariel Noah and Smoked Garage, which is limited to 50 units.

The Urban Superbike Italjet Dragster, retro scooter Royal Alloy, NIU Motorcycles electric scooter and Energica electric scooter appear with a series of updates and wrapped in special packaging.

Successfully launching Italjet Dragster Limited Edition in 2021 with 499 units worldwide and 40 units entering Indonesia, this time UTOMOCORP presents skeleton scooters in regular colors, Red, White and Yellow. This is to respond to the interest of out of the box motorbike fans from Italy who want to be different with a new uniform. This touch of color provides freshness visually by combining industrial concepts with brightening colors.

“In addition to the regular Italjet Dragster products in solid colors, this opportunity is a special moment for UTOMOCORP because it presents a special collaboration edition product between a great musician in the country’s music scene, namely Ariel Noah and the Smoked Garage workshop. This edition was born as a result of answering our challenge to Smoked Garage to be able to create spectacular works not only for motorcycle enthusiasts but also music lovers and other art activists.

The character Ariel as a Superstar who has created great works side by side with the eccentric figure of Italjet Dragster will become a phenomenal work in a limited number of only 50 units,” said Denny Utomo, CEO of UTOMOCORP at JIExpo, Kemayoran, Jakarta, Thursday (16/2 /2023).

Consumers can get a product called Signature ARL Dragster at a price of IDR 175 million.

The Signature ARL Dragster, which is headed by married couple Nicko Eigert and Nabila Putri from Smoked Garage, was challenged to customize the Italjet Dragster by involving an inspirational figure who is not well known from the automotive industry.

The choice fell on Ariel, the image of a public figure and motorbike from the inspirational band Noah who is known as a graphic artist. Ariel is also enthusiastic about seeing the figure of the Italjet Dragster which is different from other motorcycle models.

“Italjet Dragster’s industrial shape doesn’t need a lot of changes, just adding a few accents to the body following my hobby for the world of action figures and colors,” said Ariel.

In just a month of work, this motorbike has appeared different as a result of the discussions between them. Ariel from the design and color side and Nicko from the workmanship technical side, assisted by Nabila from the time management aspect.

Ariel was directly involved in the process of customizing this motorbike by taking time apart from her busy music life. One of the concerns is the matter of color. The combination of dark blue was finally chosen to cover the front of the body with a combination of bronze accents in several parts after being involved in dozens of mixed schemes.

The placement of the winglets at the front adds to the character of the Italjet, which performs fast and is ambitious towards goals. This fitting also describes the Dragster’s flattering definition of modern and stylish design.

The aesthetic touch continues in the upholstery design which has an elegant texture from the selection of materials and the composition of the stitches. In the center there is a red panel with a special signature that balances the blend of art and technology in exposing the red frame construction and the Independent Steering System suspension.

ARL Dragster’s signature is also printed on a special panel under the handlebars with Ariel’s signature and the number of the accumulated number of 50 units. The number 50 is also known as Ariel’s favorite number as a symbol of good luck.

Another device that is installed on this motorbike is an exhaust specially made by Smoked Garage to support engine performance with a capacity of 200cc.

The premium scooter market was not left behind by UTOMOCORP’s concern with the emergence of a golden age edition of the Mods subculture in the 1960s in England. The Royal GP150 Heritage Series is a product that was appointed as a form of appreciation at the time of the development of scooter trends in driving culture combined with punk music to become a fashion today.

This Heritage model will only be made 150 units to become one of the authentic products from the British brand which will be available in Red, Blue, Yellow and Purple color variants. This model has additional accessories in the bezel area and also fins to strengthen the classic impression. The Royal GP150 Heritage Series is priced at 79 million.

“We released the Royal GP150 Heritage Series to provide special, different products to our customers by bringing the spirit of the scooter fashion movement in the 1960s, namely the emergence of the Mods period,” said Denny.

We have just released this special edition to add to other Royal Alloy product variants and to form a legacy of classic identity from our products,” added Denny.

The electrification vehicle segment also remains part of UTOMOCORP’s business focus through the Energica brand. At IIMS 2023, the Energica EsseEsse9+ Police and the Energized Experia Police were displayed, which were used by the Police while on duty to escort the G20 Summit in Bali some time ago. Meanwhile, in the electric scooter market, which is the belle of UTOMOCORP’s sales, it displays new editions of the NIU F4, NIU G5, NIU G3 and NIU NQI Sport.
