Ariel Noah Board of Trustees of Gekrafs, Commission X Wants Privileges

Jakarta

Chairman of the DPP Board of Trustees of the National Creative Economy Movement (Gekrafs) Sandiaga Uno appointed Mr Ariel Noah become a member of the Gekrafs Board of Trustees. The chairman of Commission X of the DPR RI, Syaiful Huda, reminded Sandiaga, who is also the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, not to give privilege against Gekrafs which is filled by a number of celebrities.

“Of course, as a separate person from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, he cannot become a monopoly organization or he gets more privileges than the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. Because the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy is part of the government, and Gekrafs is part of the initiation of the Sandiaga Period network. So what should not be a monopoly and get excessive privilege,” said Huda when contacted, Sunday (20/2/2022).

Huda said the appointment of Ariel Noah at Gekrafs was actually a common thing. He also reminded that Ariel was not officially appointed by the ministry, in this case Kemenparekraf.

“Of course Ariel’s appointment as a member of the Gekrafs Advisory Board is a normal thing, as long as there is no mix-up between the ministries and organizations created by Mas Sandiaga’s network,” he explained.

“Because the appointment of Mas Ariel as the board of trustees is not officially appointed by the ministry, but Ariel’s entry as the Board of Trustees of Gekrafs is not officially from the ministry. What should not be if there is a mix between Mas Sandi’s movement and the ministry,” continued Huda.

Meanwhile, Huda continued, he also reminded Sandi that the Gekrafs staffed by Ariel and Prilly Latuconsina were being monitored by the public. Huda asked Gekrafs not to be a burden for the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.

“The public can continue to see and monitor this movement, whether this kind of organization in the future will become a burden for the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy or not,” he added.
