On the day we marked 6 months to the war of iron swords and let’s not stop praying for the return of the abductees to their homes, Ariel Elkin, the Israeli racing driver, wins third place in his debut round in the US Formula 4 car racing championship and goes up to the podium holding a helmet with the pictures of the abductees on it.
On the podium in second place is the son of the British Dan Weldon who was killed in the IndyCar race, and these days a documentary series is being released about his life and the tragic story of who was supposed to be one of the biggest stars in the field of car racing in the USA.
Ariel’s racing overalls are decorated with the symbols of the country and the IDF and when the other drivers on the podium wave the trophies they won, Ariel waves his helmet and reminds the world that we will not be silent or give up until everyone, young and old, returns home.
Ariel Shaiftzer the helmet for long hours with the pictures of the abductees and the abductees, and precisely in the days when being Israeli is sometimes seen as scary, the young and aspiring racing driver is not afraid to shout the cry of the abductees and their families in the world
