Arief Asks Prabowo to Report Jokowi to Deactivate Anies Baswedan

MANTRA SUKABUMI – DKI Jakarta will apply PSBB total because the trend of increasing Covid-19 cases is getting out of control.

PSBB which will be implemented on September 14 2020 will be announced directly by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.

Responding to this, Deputy Chairman of the Gerindra Party, Arief Poyuono asked the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto to immediately meet the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi), to request the deactivation of Anies Baswedan as Governor of DKI Jakarta.

“General Chairman of Gerindra, Prabowo Subianto needed to immediately face the President Jokowi to request the deactivation of Anies Baswedan, “said Arief as quoted by mantrasukabumi.com from RRI on Thursday, September 10, 2020.

Arief explained the reason for Anies’s deactivation was because Anies was suspected of having violated Law Number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine by announcing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) without the knowledge of the central government.

“Anies deserves to be deactivated. Because of the stipulation PSBB regions cannot be without the knowledge of the central government, in this case the President Jokowi, “he explained.

“For this reason, the Gerindra Party needs to immediately prepare its cadres who are currently Deputy Governor of DKI to hold the position of governor,” he added.
