Sometimes big stars disappear from the limelight – only to reappear on the red carpet for a nice reunion with the world.
It also happened when Ariana Richards (42) made a comeback during a film premiere this week.
Surprised on red carpet
At the age of twelve, she became known around the world for her role as Lex in the original 1993 “Jurassic Park” movie.
Now, 29 years later, she appeared at the “Jurassic World: Dominion” premiere in Los Angeles.

On that occasion, completely new pictures of the former child star have also appeared, which show fans what she looks like today.

Although Richards is not in the latest Jurassic sequel, she was present on the red carpet in connection with the premiere and allowed herself to be photographed.

Lost his father
Richards was also watching the premiere of “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” in 2018. According to People the former actor today works as a painter.
The comeback on the red carpet comes just days after Richards lost his father.
She shared the sad news on Instagram, where she thinks back on her father’s support during her acting career.
‘I’ll miss you, Dad. So very, very much. No one could compare with you “, she wrote to the picture of herself, her father and sister.
The photo was taken at the “Youth Film Awards” in 1994. There she received an award for her efforts in the first “Jurassic Park” film.
“He used to be with me at so many events, no matter how busy he was.”
Richards was 13 years old during the filming of the movie. She later had a guest appearance in the 1997 sequel “The Lost World”.

The child star has recently reflected on celebrity life. During an interview with Interview magazine in 2011, she talked about the acting job that made her world famous.

– It is a film that touched so many people when it came out. It was one of those things where I just enjoyed the experience of making the movie, and everything that happened in hindsight. The whole drive, was a surprise, she said at the time, adding:

The painter said she could not enjoy her lunch in peace without fans seeking her out. She still notices the film’s popularity.

When asked if she would like to return to the cinema, she answers the following:
– People ask me: “Did you give up acting or did you decide to leave the industry?”. Then I tell them it’s not about making a choice. Acting is something that will always be in my blood. It’s more that my interest is visual arts and oil paintings… if a really interesting role comes and finds me, I’m sure I will be gira to do so.
