The singer changed the original photo – with the flowery, pink background – at the last minute to a more artistic black and white photo. “You were very angry when you saw the original artwork,” said the singer. “That made me very sad and that’s why I changed it.”
“On reflection you were right,” Grande continued in her video. “But that doesn’t mean you’re always right. In those ten years, the bullying has never stopped. Sometimes that pays off, but just as often it makes me feel miserable. Like a broken woman who constantly questions herself.” A fierce testimony, although the singer immediately put her argument into perspective: “No, that last one was just a joke.”
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of her debut album, Ariana released a reworked version of ‘Yours Truly’ with seven new songs. It has been on the shelves since August 25.
