KBB NEWS – Entering the wet dry season in July, Bandung City residents must be aware of various things disease due to viruses that often attack. including acute respiratory infections (ARI) and diarrhea.

A number of disease which includes ARI including asthma, flu, colds, sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, and bronchiolitis.

This was conveyed by the Sub-Coordinator of Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (P2PTM) and Mental Health of the Bandung City Health Office (Dinkes), dr. Intan Annisa Fatmawaty on Friday, July 8, 2022.

“If the temperature is cold, the virus will multiply faster. That’s why diseasedisease which is because the virus is increasing, like ARI and diarrheasaid Intan.

“When the transition began to turn into a warm dry season, people have started to go out for walks. From there it spreads disease happened,” he admits.

In addition, red eye infections caused by viruses also often occur during the transition season.

To protect themselves from the spread of the virus during the transition period, Intan appealed to the public to maintain health protocols, consume nutritious food, increase physical activity, and get adequate rest.
