KREMSMÜNSTER. Four police patrols and the rescue team were on duty at a residential building in Kremsmünster that night. Three heavily drunk men from Romania had apparently injured themselves – two of them were extremely aggressive towards the officers and had to be arrested.
Due to the noise, the police were called to the scene in Kremsmünster shortly before midnight. When the apartment door was opened, traces of blood were visible on the floor, and the 23-year-old Romanian and his 50-year-old father were also covered in blood. A 23-year-old cousin, like the two men, was apparently heavily drunk.
51-year-old hit police officers in the face
While the rescue that was summoned was taking care of the 23-year-old, his father became increasingly aggressive. He slapped an officer on the shoulder and eventually in the face. The man was then arrested. When his son saw this, he in turn attacked the police and tried to prevent his father from being arrested. He was also arrested.
Four police patrols necessary
In the end, four police patrols were necessary to carry out the two arrests. Four officers were slightly injured. What exactly happened before the police intervened is still under investigation.
