Santiago Giménez moved from the Mexican team Cruz Azul to Feyenoord last summer for 6 million euros. Since then, the value of the 22-year-old footballer has increased almost 7-fold, and the transfermarkt portal valued him at 40 million euros.
In his first season with Rotterdam, he contributed 23 goals to win the league title and helped the team reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
