MEXICO CITY (apro).— Roberto Omar Alejandro Gandini Buix, an Argentine diver who worked off the coast of Yucatán, was found dead inside a cenote in that entity.
Gandini Buix, 51, disappeared on Friday and her remains were found 48 hours later, after a search operation in which members of the Association of Technical Sports Divers of Yucatán and the fire department participated.

According to the Argentine newspaper Clarín, Gandini Buix was found 28 meters deep, trapped inside a cavity and with two of the three oxygen tanks completely empty.

Gandini Buix disappeared in the Dzonbakal cenote, in San Antonio Mulix, Umán, 49 kilometers from Mérida. The last time he was seen alive was around 11 a.m. on Friday when he prepared to submerge, Clarín said.
His family commented that every Friday he went diving; However, on October 4 he decided to go alone and he no longer emerged, so they began searching for him from that date around 3:00 p.m., according to El Diario de Yucatán.
