Argentine company relies on Liebherr mobile cranes

Coamtra-Symco, a family company with headquarters in Argentina, has taken over three new Liebherr mobile cranes. The two five-axle vehicles were delivered to Buenos Aires at the beginning of this year. A four-axle truck will arrive at the Uruguay branch in June. This is announced by the Liebherr company from Ehingen. Coamtra-Symco chose the three cranes because of their safety, economy and versatility.

Very strong and equipped with a long boom

Both cranes are suitable for roads and off-road, powerful and particularly versatile. “The costs for the transport are relatively low”, explains Osvaldo De Bonis, Director of the group of companies. “The cranes are very strong and equipped with a long boom. We can use them extremely flexibly, quickly and, above all, safely on site. ”With an adjustable ballast radius and flexible support, the cranes can be optimally adapted to the respective construction site situation. “These systems make an enormous contribution to the safety of crane operations and the avoidance of accidents. The crane driver is significantly relieved, ”describes German De Bonis. At Coamtra-Symco, the two Liebherr cranes will in future often take over loading and unloading activities in wind energy in fast and safe tandem operation.

A compact and versatile machine

Coamtra-Symco ordered a Liebherr LTM 1120-4.1 for Uruguay, which will be delivered this June. “With the 120-tonne crane, we have chosen a compact and versatile machine. We will initially be using it in a paper mill, ”explains Commercial Director Xavier De Bonis and continues:“ The all-terrain crane requires little space to set up. At the same time, it has a long boom and excellent load capacity. ”The large paper mill of the Finnish company UPM is being built in Paso de los Toros, 260 kilometers north of Montevideo. Coamtra-Symco attaches great importance to further development, growth and making a contribution to the region.
