Argentine Foreign Minister Felipe Sola said that Mauricio Claver Caroni, an advisor to US President Donald Trump, has warned Argentine officials against concluding an agreement with Chinese company Howay on 5G on the network and said that the United States will view any potential agreement very poorly.
This came in a press interview conducted by Sola with the Argentine newspaper Clarín.
And Bloomberg News quoted Sola as telling the newspaper that the US automaker Ford Motor Company will invest $ 700 million in its Argentina operations, without providing further details.
Claver Caroni will begin his new position as president of the Inter-American Development Bank in October as the first American to lead the institution.
Sulla said Latin America is not united and the United States took advantage of that, referring to the controversial election process of Claire Caroni to lead the bank.
