MADRID, 8 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Argentine Government will rename the Women’s Hall at the headquarters of the country’s Presidency, the Casa Rosada, which from now on will be called the Hall of Heroes, according to an announcement made in the midst of the commemoration of International Women’s Day.
“Indeed, the Women’s Hall is going to be called the Hall of Heroes by decision of the Secretary General of the Presidency, Karina Milei,” sister of the current president of the country, Javier Milei, according to the announcement made by the spokesperson for the Argentine Presidency. , Manuel Adorni.
The spokesperson considered that the existence of the Women’s Room “perhaps even discriminates against men” and defended that Milei’s cabinet has 45 percent women, a higher percentage than that of his predecessors.
“Valuing women goes beyond the name of a salon and if there is someone who values them, it is President Milei,” the spokesperson added at a press conference.
