Argentina seeks to vaccinate 15 million people with the “Sputnik V” vaccine

The Director of the Latin America Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry, Alexander Steinin, said that Argentina is seeking to vaccinate about 15 million people with the Russian (Sputnik V) vaccine against the Corona virus.

Steinen explained that providing Argentina with the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine, which began at the end of December, will continue from January to March.

It is worth noting that vaccination with the Russian vaccine in Argentina began at the end of December, 300,000 doses have been delivered so far, and it is scheduled to provide it with another 5 million doses in January, and more than 14 million in February.

Argentina was the first country in Latin America to sign a commercial contract to purchase the Russian “Sputnik V” vaccine.

Argentina, Bolivia, Serbia, Algeria and Palestine have registered the Russian vaccine for approval in vaccination campaigns against the Corona virus.
