Argentina reports first mpox death | RYT9

Argentina’s Ministry of Health confirmed today the death of a patient suffering from mpox (formerly known as “monkeypox” or monkeypox).

The patient is Argentina’s first death from mpox, who died in a Buenos Aires hospital.

The patient was a 44-year-old male diagnosed with HIV-AIDS and died of infectious shock.
