The Argentine women’s soccer team fell to Brazil, the top favorite for the crown, 4-0, in the debut match of the Copa América played in Colombia.
The match took place at the Centenario Stadium, in Armenia, and the goals were from Adriana Leal da Silva (2), Bia Zaneratto from a penalty and Debinha.
Although the team led by Germán Portanova proposed an even game at the beginning, Brazil began to impose its superiority as the minutes went by and won a deserved victory.
In the other match of the opening date of Group B, Venezuela beat Uruguay 1-0 (goal by Deyna Castellanos).

For the second date of group B, this coming Tuesday, Argentina will face Peru and Brazil will do so with Uruguay. Venezuela will be free.
This Monday will be the second day of group A with these clashes: Paraguay (0 points) – Chile (0, debut), Bolivia (0) – Colombia (3). Free: Ecuador (3).
