More donations
In addition, the Ministry of Health indicated that Argentina is in talks with other nations such as Barbados, Nicaragua, Angola, Kenya and the Philippines, who have already expressed “interest in receiving donations of vaccines and showed their gratitude to our country”.
In this framework, Commission White Helmets, chaired by Sabina Frederic and dependent on the Chancellery, initiated the assistance negotiations and solidarity exchange of covid-19 management experiences so that, as it has been doing at a global level, Argentina responds positively and proactively to the international needs caused by the pandemic.
They remembered that Argentina received donations that exceeded 7 million doses and that allowed to accelerate the application of doses to offer complete protection to most of the population.
In that sense, by having the stock of vaccines necessary for its population, “our country is in a position to promote equitable and timely access to vaccines designed to generate acquired immunity against Covid-19 ”.
