The Argentine government has contracted to purchase 15 million doses of the new Russian anti-virus vaccine, “Sputnik V”.
According to the Russian “TASS” agency, “Voz” newspaper quoted government sources that the first batch of Russian vaccines will arrive in Argentina in December, and that another 10 million doses will be provided to the country in the form of aid.
While the representative of the Russian Direct Investment Fund denied what was announced about donating a quantity of the anti-virus vaccine to Argentina, and said: “The information about the donation does not match the reality.”
The head of the Russian investment fund, Kirill Dmitriev, stated that the “Sputnik V” vaccine for Argentina will be produced by partners in India, China, South Korea, and in a number of other countries working to produce the Russian vaccine.
And “Dmitriev” announced last October, that his organization plans to start supplying the Russian vaccine against the Corona virus to Argentina and Peru.
