After the fate of Copa América 2024, there is no waiting period for Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina team. The ‘Albiceleste’ team is trying to strike a new blow in the September qualifiers again against the Colombian team, when they meet in Barranquilla on the 8th.
Argentina has to face Chile at home, and later, they will face Colombia in the city of Barranquilla. This will be a replay of the 2024 Copa America final.
For the call, the Argentine coach did not mention Lionel Messi, so the current player of Inter Miami will not be on the ground of Barranquilla. These are the ones that have been called:
- Archers: Emiliano Martinez, Juan Musso, Geronimo Rulli and Walter Benitez
- Protection: Gonzalo Montiel, Cristian Romero, Nahuel Molina, Germán Pezzella, Leonardo Balerdi, Nicolás Otamendi, Lisandro Martínez, Nicolás Tagliafico, Valentín Barco.
